The results are in - and we’re thrilled to share thatRobert Stein Winery has been awardedTop Five Redin the 2026 Halliday Wine Companion. This is Halliday’s highest possible recognition, reserved for the very best wineries in Australia, and a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

To achieveTop Five Red, a winery must hold a record of 10+ years of consistent 5 Red Star ratings, with wines regularly scoring 95 points or higher. For us, this acknowledgement is not just about one year, but about decades of hard work, passion, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

We’re especially proud that our2024 Dry Riesling was awarded 96 points- proof that it’s not just us who think these wines are something special. Of course, we’re a little close to it all, because we see the countless hours and dedication behind every bottle.

From Jacob and Lisa’s palates guiding each vintage, to Matt and the vineyard team making sure the grapes are at their very best from the start, to the cellar and cellar door teams bringing it all together for you - every part of our winery family plays a role in creating wines we’re proud to share.

As we celebrate50 years of Stein wines, this recognition feels even more meaningful. It’s a reminder of where we’ve come from, and a very exciting glimpse into what’s ahead.
