Robert Stein Winery Dominates at 2024 Mudgee Wine Show

What a night! We couldn’t be more thrilled to share our news from the 2024 Mudgee Wine Show, where we walked away with nearly one of our biggest hauls of trophies ever. It’s hard to put into words just how proud we are of the entire team. Their passion & hard work have taken Robert Stein Winery to new heights, raising the bar for quality, not just for us but for Mudgee as a whole.

Coming off the back of our wins at the Sydney Royal Wine Show, these awards feel even more special because they’re a celebration of our roots, our local Mudgee community, & everything we’ve been working towards here at home.

In total, we woneight trophies, & there was an extra special moment for us when Andrew Stein was presented with theJennifer Moncreiff Award for Most Outstanding Contribution to the Mudgee Wine Industry. That’s a big deal for our family.

Our2024 Reserve Rieslingwas clearly the star of the show, winning three separate trophies, includingChampion Wine of Show. The2022 Reserve Chardonnay& our2017 Museum Rieslingalso brought home big wins, showing the depth of quality across our range. It’s a great reflection of the teamwork between our viticulture & winemaking teams, making the most of what Mudgee’s vineyards can offer.

Jacob Stein & Lisa Bray were also recognised asWinemakers of the Year, a well-deserved recognition of their ability to produce wines that truly stand out. & let’s not forgetMatthew Bailey, our viticulturist, who took home the award forViticulturist of the Year. His tireless work in the vineyard ensures that we’re working with the best fruit possible, & it really shows in the wines we’re producing.
