The grapes were handpicked from our Block F Chardonnay and whole bunch pressed, allowing the fruit to express itself well in the wine. The juice was allowed to ferment using natural yeasts (wild ferment) in new French oak hogsheads. A partial malolactic fermentation has added some complexity.
A modern style of Chardonnay with citrus and stone fruit notes, leading to a complex and creamy palate, with nice acidity and length to finish. Will age well over the next 5 - 8 years.
