The fruit was picked early, at 12.5 Baume, to produce an off-dry pink Rose with aromas of perfumed Cherry and berry fruits. The crisp, fresh palate has flavours of strawberry and citrus, with a touch of sweetness and a long finish.
Our 2010 Rosé was Selected in the 2010 NSW TOP 100 Wines by James Halliday:
"A Rosé with near-universal appeal; third generation Jacob Steins Flying winemaker experience shines through, particularly his vintages in Germany. Pale light magenta; small red berry fruit aromas, then a red fruit palate with a touch of sweetness on the finish smuggled in; well made - 90 points."
We think this years vintage is equally as good!
