Vintage Conditions: 2008 was a good year for white winemaking in Mudgee. A dry summer with a lot of cloud cover slowed ripening down and allowed great flavour development.
Winemaking: The grapes were hand selected in the early morning to retain freshness and flavour. Gentle whole bunch pressing occurred, and fermentation was in 100% stainless steel. The true vineyard expression is evident in this wine
Tasting Notes: A modern take on a classic Mudgee style this wine is Pale green gold in colour with intense citrus and mineral flavours and lemony acidity to finish. Drink now with seafood or watch the wine develop complexity and richness through cellaring over the next 8 – 10 years.
